Growing pea sprouts has proved to be incredibly easy; just push dried peas into a tray of compost on the window sill, water and wait... delicious in salads, risottos and pasta. Thank you to the inspirational Alys Fowler and her Edible Garden.

The helpful and groovy Supermarket Sarah have gone to great lengths to send me a lovely new framed paper cut laser print. It's by Lynn Hatzius, a brilliant artist who has designed the covers of the last two Adem albums. It's called Rocking Horse and it rocks. Metaphorically.

spring's sprung

It seems like it's taken forever, but spring is finally here. The lilac trees, white and purple, are now in bloom and the apple and pear trees are blossoming. The wisteria is flowering. It's all damnably good for the soul.
